Motus / Future hardware

Capturing how people move.
Starting with the device.

Motus is our future motion-capture hardware venture. The direction is to develop devices that capture useful movement evidence.

Ask about Motus ↗

What it is

Sensor hardware for recording movement, together with the software to look at what it records.

Who it is for

Not open to customers yet. The movement evidence it captures is meant to support Datum’s future motion-data work and the analysis tools in Lumen.

Status

Future work. Some early software groundwork exists. No device is for sale, and no availability or delivery date is announced.

Why it matters

Why build the device

Evidence first

Useful movement research and products depend on trustworthy recordings. Building our own capture devices is how we plan to get them.

Connected to the rest

Original captures could broaden the evidence behind Datum’s future synthetic motion data and feed analysis in Lumen.

What to expect

Nothing to buy yet

We are not taking orders and we are not making claims about what a device can measure. When there is something real to show, it will be shown here.

No device availability or delivery date is announced.
